New BBQ place in town

You can never have too much good BBQ.

I heard today that a Rock Store BBQ has opened in Waxhaw. Who knew?

I haven't seen it with my own two eyes, but I suspect it's located in the new BP that was constructed between Lowe's and McDonalds.

Anyone have any thoughts on how it compares to 521 BBQ & Grill?

    Yes, it's at the new BP next to McDs and Lowes. When I was headed to the airport wednesday it looked as if it was getting ready to open (i.e. outside tables/umbrellas with lights were up, inside was setup, etc). It will be good to get some BBQ.

    There are several Rock Store BBQs in the Charlotte area. I ate lunch at the one in Mint Hill last week and it was pretty good.
