Lori linked to this story of a Waxhaw man accidentally shooting himself on a first date over on Facebook that led to a wave of dating related one-liners from commenters.
Weirdcrime.net (of course there's a website devoted to weird crimes; why wouldn't there be?) has some more details that appears to be straight from the police report.
“The victim advised that he was reaching for his gun which was chained up in a bicycle lock underneath the car seat,” a Charlotte police report said. “The victim advised that the gun accidentally went off as he was pulling on the gun which shot him in the left leg.”
