So certain celebrity Waxhaw bloggers can breathe a sigh of relief in the fact that Stephen Curry likely won't be taking an inordinate amount of the local media's adoring limelight from them.

NBA'er buying home in Waxhaw
Just stumbled across this when reading about former Davidson star Stephen Curry, but apparently he and his fiancée have purchased a home in Waxhaw.
