UPDATE: two crew members killed in train derailment

Following up on my earlier post, I just got a WBT email update that two crew members of the CSX trains that collided in Mineral Springs have indeed died.

The whole update:

Officials said a second person has died following an overnight train derailment in Union County.

The fatalities were on a CSX freight train that rear-ended another train in Mineral Springs.

One CSX employee was declared dead at the scene, while the other was pronounced dead at Carolinas Medical Center.
